Search Filters and Display - Key fields to know about

Filtering

Filtering in a View is quite easy, if you know what fields to look for!

We recommend you take the time to look through the list, but to assist we have provided a list of key fields you should know about when building a Filter.

Groups

Field Name Type / Value Comments
Key Firm Contact Name Name Use this to filter to only Groups belonging to a key firm contact
Key Firm Contact Type List Use this with the Key Firm Contact Name to filter to where a specific person has a particular role
Has Primary True / False Indicates if the Group has a Primary Contact set - Important for Marketing Lists
Primary Contact Multiple fields If the Group has a Primary Contact you can display the basic details in the View and/or use them to Filter
Is Verified True / False Indicates if the Group has been verified for data integrity - You cannot publish a group until it is Verified
Total Fees (YTD) $ Total fees YTD from your fee Connectors (such as APS, MYOB and Xero)
Total Revenue (YTD) $ Total fees YTD from all revenue sources (accounting, commission, etc)

Clients

Field Name Type / Value Comments
Status Active / Inactive / Prospect Important that you consider this whenever building a list otherwise you may include or miss key Client records
Is Primary   Indicates if the Client is a Primary Contact. Important that the Client has a Work and/or Home email
Work Email   Used for marketing lists

Tax Returns

There have been some fields added from Tax Returns relating to deductions. This can be mapped from APS upon request. Note that similar fields are not yet available to be mapped from MYOB, but is part of ongoing investigation.

Other Deductions $ This field can be made up of any value as defined by the below description
Other Deductions Description Text A free text field in APS that can be filtered for "Income Protection" "IP" or similar
Rental Income $ Allows searching for mortgage broking and insurance opportunities
Dividends $ Shows dividends from shares
Dividend Deductions $ Shows any deductions in relation to these dividends
Interest Deduction $ Allows searching for mortgage broking and insurance opportunities

 

All of the above fields are also rolled up to the client with a set of fields from the "Latest" tax return that Xeppo is storing for the client, as well as from the previous ("Prev") tax return that Xeppo holds.

The lodgement date of the "Latest" tax return is stored in: "Client - Lodgement Date (Last Return)".

The lodgement date of the "Prev" tax return is stored in: "Client - Lodgement Date (Previous Return)".
